Common Questions
Clear Answers, Real Support, No Guesswork
We know that starting something new in your health journey can bring questions. Below are answers to the most common things women ask about care at Connected Wellness so you can feel informed, supported, and confident moving forward.
What makes Connected Wellness different?
Connected Wellness is built around personalized, ongoing care with a dedicated clinician who understands your full health picture, not just isolated symptoms. Unlike larger programs where care can feel rushed or standardized, women receive consistent, one-on-one support, along with guidance between visits so they’re never navigating changes alone. This allows for care that is responsive, individualized, and truly connected over time.
How does virtual care work?
All visits are completed virtually, making care accessible from anywhere in Massachusetts.
Appointments are structured, supportive, and designed to fit into real life — without commuting, waiting rooms, or scheduling barriers. Women can also connect with their clinician between visits for questions or adjustments as needed.
Do I have to use medication or hormone therapy?
No. Treatment is always individualized.
Some women benefit from hormone therapy or medications like GLP-1s, while others focus on lifestyle strategies, nutrition, sleep, and stress support. Care is built around what is appropriate, safe, and aligned with each woman’s goals.
Will I have support between appointments?
Yes! Ongoing communication is a core part of care.
Women can reach out between visits with questions or concerns, and receive timely guidance to help adjust their plan as needed. This creates continuity so support doesn’t stop when the appointment ends.
Is insurance accepted?
Connected Wellness is a self-pay practice. However, many women are able to use insurance for labs or submit a Superbill for potential reimbursement depending on their plan. Guidance is provided to help navigate this process when applicable.
What kinds of services do you offer?
Care is focused on women’s health through midlife and beyond, including:
- Menopause and perimenopause support
- Sleep and energy concerns
- Weight management and metabolic health
- Hormone therapy when appropriate
- Lifestyle and integrative wellness coaching
All care is personalized and adjusted over time based on progress and goals.
I’m not sure where to start. Is that okay?
Yes, that’s very common! Most women begin because something feels “off,” even if they can’t fully explain it yet. The first step is simply understanding what’s going on in your body and building a plan that makes sense for you.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting.
What if I’ve tried other programs before?
That’s exactly why many women come here.
This approach focuses on looking at the full picture, not treating symptoms in isolation. Instead of short-term fixes or generic plans, care evolves based on how your body responds over time.
How do I get started?
Getting started is simple. You can book a consultation directly online, and from there, care is fully guided step by step.
